This place is a teeeeny tiny restaurant with barely four small tables, in that big parking lot in the middle of Piedmont Avenue. And who cares about the tiny space? In exchange for getting your food to go or squeezing into a corner, you get delicious sushi, sashimi, tempura, and other dishes for half the price of all those folks down the street. Let me tell you - when all the other restaurants in Oakland want to sell me a sashimi entree for $18 or more, the wonderfully friendly folks here are only charging $8. Plus they have some Japanese candy and soft drinks, fun impulse purchases while you're waiting for your food. This is my favorite place to get sashimi, ever!
