The Emerald Day Spa is a nice little spa in downtown napa. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful in making facial choices. I made an appointment for the "Anti-Acne Facial (my skin is congested with lots of blackheads). Sheree (sp?) was my esthetician. I liked her manner- no extra chatter, very relaxed. The one major downer for me is she used the extractor tool. Is this a napa thing? It totally hurts but i understand you have to apply pressure to get the gunk out (altho fingers never make me wince in pain). She did use her fingers tho and was pretty thorough about extracting. Anyway, she recommended products after i asked her; there was no hard sales push. It's not the most relaxing place in that hall noise permeates the walls very easily. The products carried are Gly-Med and their private line. It's a complete bummer they didn't have a website too-had to walk in to get a menu of services (guess i'm addicted to the convenience of the web).
