Nina goes to the Shiner's Hospital in Tampa, Florida every 6 months where she is evaluated by a group of doctors and fitted for braces and other aids. She is paralyzed from her waist down from a birth defect called Spina Bifida but that doesn't stop her from being a beautiful, playful, loving child. The caring staff at Shriners treats us well and is willing to help in any way possible. The doctors volunteer their time away from their regular practices at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL.
