The Village Inn at exit 240 on I-80 is a great place to meet friends or neighbors for a good meal and visit.
Their menu includes healthy choices, a big variety and reasonable prices. Also for folks 60 or over there is an across the board 10% discount. That counts big for we older people. The service is friendly too.
I find it to be a good place to have people traveling through meet me for lunch etc. It is easy to direct them to and easy to spot from I-80.
One of the nice features is that you can order pies to go so if you have something come up and need a good pie in a hurry that's the pace to go.
I met online friends from Ohio there for lunch today and we all agreed everything was really good. Incidentally, my coconut cream pie was delicious.
