Lotus is a smallish health food store on Lexington between 87th and 88th. Best thing is their prices on Solgar vitamins. THey're always discounted, as many other places, but the actual prices start lower than most other stores I've seen in the neighborhood, so highly recommend them if you need vitamins.
They have most healthy foods you might want - both frozen and non-frozen, whole grain pastas, cereals, various nut butters, soy milk, juices, etc.
They also have a great selection of essential oils and bases if you make your own beauty products, or are just looking for products with only natural ingredients.
The staff is very friendly, and helpful if you have any questions.
