We moved into an apartment that already had an ADT alarm. When the technician came out to reactivate the system, he only had to make minor adjustments to the positions of certain sensors even though the system had been dormant for 5 years (the tenant before us hadn’t used it). I was really impressed that the system was still in great shape even so many years later!
