This is the perfect little watering hole right in the middle of the proliferation of boutiques and high-end shops in NoLiTa. Situated on a corner with enormous windows, it's an ideal people-watching spot from inside, especially on a perfect spring day.
But if you can't get a seat up front, no worries. They have a fantastic jukebox with a mix of mainstream and less conventional artists, as well as a TV for the sports fans. They also offer a great selection of domestic and imported beer, and while it's been noted they don't serve food, they have no issues if you decide to bring a slice inside from Pomodoro across the street.
The best part about this bar is the motley crew of people who frequent it. It's a typical to see the resident poet falling off 'his' stool up front, a crew of Wall Street Suits loosening their ties, the firemen from the station around the corner, and NYU co-eds all chatting away and socializing with each other all in one room.
