When in Key West the place to visit is Truman's Little White house. It was the summer residence when Truman was president and the house is still decorated and filled with objects that he used during that time. You can walk the grounds or take a tour for a nominal fee and see and touch furniture, read letters that were written to him and by him to other dignitaries. It shows what life was like as president during that time and there are a lot of objects in the house that he had that can never be replaced. If you have the time it is well work the tour fee. Its not often you get to go into a summer dwelling of a former president.
