I used to take my entire out of town friends and family to Bimini twist for a really nice dinner. I would tell them how nice the people and atmosphere was and of course how good the food was. Until Saturday… I went in and told the front desk that I had 6 people in our party, all family from California, and one of the girls there told me it would be 35 to 45 min, and I got the pager to let me know when my table was ready, when I walked outside I realized that we were 7 instead of 6, so the girl told me it would be 45 minutes to 1 hour and I said OK since it was a Saturday. After about 45 minutes my wife went inside to check on our table and told them that we have been waiting for about an hour, the blonde girl who they said was the manager told my wife that we have NOT waited an hour and they were waiting for a large party to finish there desert and we would be seated. Well after the hour was over we went inside again because everyone was being seated but us, and also not one waiter went outside to ask us if we wanted drinks. If the blonde girl was the manager she is the rudest manager I have ever came across, she even told us if we did not like it to leave. I was so PISSED off I asked for the restaurant manager and it was her. I have been there plenty of times to see that they could have put together two tables and called us in but after about an hour and fifteen minutes that large party was still sitting at the table. At other less classy places the manager will normally apologize for the wait and maybe even offer a drink or an appetizer, but not her, her attitude and the way she was raising her voice at my wife and me and the rest of my guest was unbelievable and uncalled for. I will not step foot in this place and I will tell all my friends what happened and advised them that they might run into the same rude manager. I understand that places like that get really full on the weekends, but after seeing party after party being seated before you gets to be a little old. If the blonde manager was having a bad day she sould be Taught that you dont take it out on the clients. I am going to investigate how I can get a hold of the owner to let them know the terrible experience I had there on Saturday.
