I have eaten several times at both Upstairs and Sotto Varalli and the food, service and the ambiance is darn close to perfect. The scallops just melt in your mouth, they make a killer martini and yes we have tried several of the desserts and each one is more decadent than the other.
Can be a little pricey if you go multi course but when we want to economize we can get out for under $50. We love it and it is a regular part of our visits to Philly.
