We came to see Dr. Testa on the advice of our pediatrician, Dr. Anthony Wayne, many years ago. He told me that she is the best pediatric neurologist in the state. Although Guilford is about a 45 minute ride for us, the trip is well worth it.
Dr. Testa has always been available when we needed her (and when she wasn't available, Dr. Levy has been there at a moment's notice.) Dr. Testa listens to our input and feedback on the medicines she's prescribing for my son, about side effects and all the things that a parent knows best about her child.
The office is set up with an EEG lab on site that is, for a child, world away from having to have an EEG at the hospital!! There is a comfortable chair and a quiet room. The EEG technician is both competent and friendly, yet firm when she needs to be.
Carla the receptionist is just wonderful - caring and kind, prompt and efficient.
Overall I can't say enough about this group. If you live in Connecticut and need an excellent pediatric neurology team, I highly recommend Child Neurology and Drs. Levy and Testa.
