Yes, I live in Gainesville and do not go to UF. I love SFCC. There is a wonderful atmostphere on campus, and speaking of the SFCC campus, it's lovely. Not too small but not so huge that you'll get lost on your way to class. The sizes of the classes are wonderful too because you'll be more likely to be able to have a one on one conversation with your professor, which is great if you are having any trouble at all. SFCC is great! I suggest it to everyone who is looking to go to school but isn't ready for a big university. and FSU is better than UF as far as universities go.
