Type of food: The usual Subway menu. Several bread choices, different meat combinations and condiments to build your own sandwich. You can have it heated. Bags of chips and cookies available to purchase.
Atmosphere: This is a new clean Subway that does not overpower you with bright yellow booths and walls, like the old ones. Since it is across the street from a new WalMart Supercenter, it gets plenty of traffic. Teenagers and moms with kids during the day make it especially busy at lunch.
Prices: Typical sandwich is about $3. Specialty sandwiches that vary during the year (chipolte chicken, for example) are around $5.
Recommendation: My sons love Subway because they get to pick and choose what goes on their sandwich. It is really fun for them and they are eating relatively healthy food.
