Since I am from Maryland, I have very high standards for crabs and crab restaurants. Joe's Crab Shack may be a chain, but the food is quite tasty. It's not the kind of restaurant you'd find on the Eastern Shore, but for being in the Northern Virginia suburbs, it's not that bad. My girlfriends and I try to meet up here a couple of times a year. Prices vary depending on what you buy, but I normally end up spending $40 or so, including a margarita or two.
