I used to be a member of Sams Club and liked it while I was a frequent shopper there. The location off of Forest Drive in Columbia was well laid out and organized. I loved the concept of being able to buy in bulk and save money. However, over the years, I started finding bulk items in my local grocery store and went less and less. It got to the point where I felt that I was wasting my money on membership dues. It’s been over a year since I last shopped there, and I really haven’t missed it. My advice to those considering getting a membership and shopping at Sams Club: Make sure you’ll frequent there enough to get your money’s worth out of your membership. If you’re in Columbia and do have a membership, definitely shop at the Forest Drive location.
