I can remember not that long ago when Payless Shoesource was the place to go for all the newest styles year round without the expensive prices. Even their children's line was absolutely adorable!! Just the other day, I went in there to buy my daughters some shoes for summer. Much to my disappointment, I found their children's shows to be a big let-down. The "fashions" of the day were tacky or were mainly characters such as Dora and they were WAY overpriced in my opinion. My oldest daughter was looking at one pair of sandals that had these gaudy gems across one band and they were $17!! $17 for a pair of sandals that my child might get 2 months wear out of!! I thought that Payless shoes, meant you could go there to "Pay less" for fashion and quality. It seems as though those days are gone.... unfortunately!
