Waffle Houses are found all over the south (not sure about other regions), and are simple, but good. If you are willing to splurge (on calories) you've got to get yourself a big platter of fluffy eggs, buttery grits and out-of-this world waffles. The food isn't fancy, but it is good. And they aren't very expensive either.
