I am very pleased with the way Oak Park Mall has been able to grow with the times. I can remember being a teenager in the late 80's and Oak Park was the place to be and to be seen. Unlike most malls in the Kansas City area, it has been able to get and maintain the high end stores. Stores like Nordstorms, Aveda, Ann Taylor, Ambercombie and Fitch, Amercian Eagle, and so on. The only compliant is the parking. Not very convenient. The atmosphere is very pleasant also. They have nice places to eat or just regular mall food. I wish they would have more security though. But overall, I'm very happy with this mall. No other mall in the area ranks this high.
