Coming to Carolina was probably one of the best decisions I've made in my entire life. You get all of the wonderful parts about being in the South (Southern hospitality, friendliness, etc.) in a mostly liberal atmosphere. It's easy to find a group of friends here. Also, education-wise, it's a great place to be. There are so many different paths you can take as an undergrad, and a ton of great top-ranked graduate programs. Also, compared to a lot of other in-state schools, it's pretty cheap. I think you get a lot of bang for your buck with UNC, as well as some of the best experiences of your life.
