I love Dollar Tree. They have some wonderful stuff for a dollar. Their home decor stuff is so cute and beautiful - they have wonderful incense, vases, knicknacks that will just blow you out of the water. They have a lot of other stuff too - makeup (often name brand and very much worth it!!!), hair and beauty items, tons of baskets, kitchen stuff, dishes (though watch out for the ones with lead content! They have stickers on them if they do!), flowers (both real and fake) art supplies, toys for the kids, electronic and hardware stuff - all of it is great. And unlike other stores, EVERYTHING is a dollar or less! They will make you pay cash if you buy less than three things though, so remember to bring some - otherwise you can pay credit. The minumum item limit for debit though is 7 items, I think. You will be amazed at the stuff you can get here - you can make your home (and you!) look beautiful for just a few bucks!
I like this location, but I highly recommend you try the other location (not listed on judy's book) on Sebastopol Rd. near Dutton - can look a little sketchy on the outside (watch out for the tamales guy! occasionally can say very unkosher things in spanish!) but they have the best selection I feel.
