I always go to my regular eye doctor then have my prescriptions filled at Eyemasters. The trick is that I wait until they have a buy one get one free glasses special. Usually it is in January of February. I am able to get designer glasses, two pairs of designer glasses, for about $300.
Now I own about 6 pairs of glasses but they are all cute and trendy. Their sales staff seem like they don't really know what they are doing and are always hard to get their attention but overall they are pleasant.
They also have a policy that if you don't like your glasses, you can return them and exchange them for a new pair. I ordered a pair and picked them up. A few weeks later I just did not like the frame so I took them back. They exchanged them for a new frame, no questions asked.
Cant beat their sales or policies!
