This is a really unique theater. It is the only theater in the area that shows foreign films and a lot of the independent non-mainstream films. I have actually come across some of my favorite movies by going to the Palm. For example, I never heard of the movie "Being John Malkovich" or "Made", but just saw that they were at the Palm and checked them out -they ended up being a couple of my favorite movies. The Palm is not the fanciest theater at all - the halls are narrow and the theater is small with no stadium seating. You won't get the amenities that you get at the newer theaters, but it is actually kind of nice for a change.
