Aldi's is a great place to get cheap food in a no-frills environment. The quality isn't always the greatest, but the prices can't be beat. The food is stacked on palettes, and you use empty boxes to hold your food. Grocery bags and sacks are available, but are charged for. You can only pay with cash, foodstamps, or debit cards. They often have good general merchandise bargains as well.
