The Southside Landfill is a good place to take "hard to get rid of" items, such as refrigerators and tires. For a nominal fee, you can dump these items in a collection area. If you have a large quantity of yard waste or rubbish, you can unload your car or truck as well. It can be easy to miss this location - make sure that you keep a sharp lookout for a sign on the south side of Kentucky avenue.
