They just opened a new one in Tuscaloosa at Summit ridge behind the Walmart Supercenter, complete with full body mount displays and a live aquarium and all, but decided to back out this year like many other outdoor stores in the area because a big outdoors store that a lot of local in the areas cannot compete against is about to open.
They still have this one in Northport though. It's an attractive store, built to look like a nice log cabin. It is not the cheapest outdoors store around, but, they always had select fishing reels (Abu Garcia mainly) cheaper than the other outdoor stores around, so for that I always liked to go here. They also had a big selection of fly tying materials, which is something the other outdoor stores lacked. They have your usual fare of clothes and guns and reels and poles as well as many baits.
Not the cheapest around, but, they do have good deals now and again.
