I know many people don't like Sam's because of the membership fee. That is definitely a negative. However, when it comes to feeding large groups, you can't beat Sam's when buying in bulk. I've used them many times for church functions. What I really love is Sam's inventory of educational books for children. I've bought a couple preschool curriculum books for less than 10.00. My husband likes to buy office supplies here, and sometimes he says they have great deals on computer things. Occasionally, their gas station can be .03 cheaper a gallon than others around as well.
