since local telephone service in our area is rather limited in the carriers offered, i guess i would say that frontier is "just okay". there are not many long distance offerings in our area. i will say that frontier has been helpful in trying to reduce my monthly long distance bill but they are not up to speed on what the larger long distance companies are doing. for example, they cannot tell me when they will offer unlimited long distance calling, a feature that almost every other long distance company has offered for quite some time. other than the fact that they have been helpful in a customer service kind of way, i cannot say that the overall company is more than "okay"
