The Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO) is a great place to fly in and out of in the Shenandoah Valley. It is so much closer than the big DC-area airports (like Dulles, National and BWI). It is also cheaper than the other regional airports. Expect to pay about $100 more per ticket (though sometimes it's CHEAPER to fly into CHO than bigger airports), but the convenience is absolutely worth it!
