I recently needed to have a growth removed from the floor of my mouth as was recommended by my dentist. She referred me to Dr. Arteaga who is a facial/oral surgeon. Considering I am a big wimp when it comes to any type of procedure of this type I was very nervous. However, when I went in for the consultation I was immediately put at ease. The office itself is very nice and the staff professional and competent. They handled all of the insurance paperwork and phoned me the same day to let me know what my portion would be. Dr. Arteaga is extremely professional but friendly and kind.
When I went in for the procedure I was a little nervous but I didn't feel a thing, not even the shot for the local. He put me at ease about the biopsy, making sure I did not worry as there was only a very slight chance it was cancerous (and it wasn't). I have since heard so many good things about Dr. Arteaga and would highly recommend him to anybody needing oral surgery of any type.
