Although I'm primarily an Amazon.com kind of girl, I like to peruse this local Books-a-Million for magazines and the occasional gift, greeting card, or quick read. The associates here are usually pretty helpful - one girl once called three locations, and then called a competitor's store - to help me locate a hard to find title!
I do think that this store is slow on getting new-release magazines - other bookstores and grocery stores usually beat them at getting these to the shelves by three or four days - but the sales here make it worth coming back. If you like your books from a real live bookstore, you can't get better than this in Montgomery.
