The Hungry Puppy is by far one of the best pet stores around. While they don't sell animals (yay!) they have a vast selection of pet supplies for large and small animals. We have a rabbit and they sell the specialty rabbit food that general stores do not have. They are welcoming to all customers both human and furry and even offer a dog biscuit on the way out. The staff is wonderful and we've already decided even after we move we'll make the trip up for our pet supplies.
