I recently purchased and electronic Item that did not work from Big Lots in Meridian, Idaho. I called the store to find out the closing time which was 9 p.m., and explained the situation. I promptly drove back to the store and upon arriving at 9 p.m. on the dot found the doors had already been locked and drawers counted. This was quite upsetting to me considering I had called and let them know I would be there to return the Item. I could see the clerk in the window laughing and shaking her head that there was no we that they would do the simple exchange. I proceeded to call the store again while standing out front of the store hoping to explain to the manager, but the clerk hung up on me when I asked for the manager! I continued calling for ten minutes until finally the manager awnsered. I asked for the number of the regional corporate office. She put me on hold for a very long time and finally returned with the information.
I now have over 90 miles in gas and 2 hours of my time invested in returning the product. I feel that the customer service is very poor and that the people that I dealt with there are rude and lazy!
