This is a small, community museum, but they are dedicated to the city and have great programs. I curated an exhibit at this museum for their Newton Salutes program, which features a local nonprofit each quarter. I think it's a great way for people to get to know about charities in their city. The museum always has creative exhibits, and they have a full calendar of terrific special programs for the whole family (concerts, lectures, displays, etc.). They are also very helpful for people trying to research local history.
