The Steak & Ale is a very traditional steak house with kind of a gentleman's club atmosphere. The menu is not terribly imaginative but the food is very good. I've had filet mignon, prime rib, burgers and one or two other things and everything was always very good and cooked to my specifications. The veggies and baked potatoes are good if a bit unimaginative. Service is very good. The parking lot is not the greatest, kinda hard to get in and out and can be crowded at peak times.
