This is one of our favorite restaurants at the beach. You know they type that you make a reservation for and not take the kids. This restaurant used to be a 1950's gas station. The decor is kind of rustic with lots of mahogany, copper and brass. It's kind of funky looking. The menu can described as upscale low country cuisine. They serve things like shrimp and grits, she-crab soup and blackened scallops. For non-seafood items you can try the pear and sausage stuffed quail or a smokehouse strip. My favorite is the salmon on a plank. They also have nighly specials that they write on a chalkboard. We have always had great service. more
