I'd heard Magnolia Grill could be uneven, but I personally had a really nice dinner, and both my boyfriend and I thought it was a great place to have an anniversary dinner. Both of us had great appetizers and entrees, but the my favorite part was definitely dessert - their pastry chef is fabulous, and the desserts were amazing and out of this world (I was seriously tempted into buying the pastry chef's cookbook). Since it's pricey, it might not be worth the gamble, but I had a good experience.
