We were starving and totally parched from the scorching heat when we decided to have lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe in Lahaina on Maui. I try to steer toward the non-chain restaurants, but we were so hungry we went here. I'm glad we did. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior (one of the better collections of Hard Rock memorabilia) and the laid back island demeanor of the waiter added to our experience. Our lunch came quick and was delicious. I can't say the same for a Hard Rock location in Niagara Falls that we recently ate at, but this one was terrific and conveniently located.
