When I purchased my home, this realtor was representing the sellers. During the finalizing of the offer, our realtor had a difficult time reaching her. Messages were left that were not returned.
Eventually the deal went through and we closed on our home. Unfortunately that is not when it ended for the realtor representing us. She did not receive her full commission which was to be paid to her by this realtor. There was no reason whatsoever for this to happen and our realtor had to take her to the board of realtors to eventually get the money owed her.
Sometimes dealing with a locally owned business is not always in your best interest. Do your research.
