Our Place Tavern is a heck of a bar—it’s possibly the most depressing place you’ll ever see. Dark and cavernous, it’s best enjoyed on lazy Saturday afternoons, where you can enjoy its two pool tables, its value-friendly jukebox, and of course, the Golden Tee machine. My father and friends have, in the past.
…The bar used to have a strange ersatz-bowling machine, as well as an extremely solid pinball machine—“No Good Gofers.” Not anymore, I guess. The people who run the bar are nice and personable. I suppose it’s not their fault that the place is so durned depressing—it just is.
So, visit Our Place Tavern. Come for the strangely depressing atmosphere, stay for the Golden Tee Golf.
