This is kind of like a Seinfeld-style diner, but it's Mexican. The menu doesn't change much and it's pretty cheap. You can go in and just get some nachos and a coke or you can have your own big Cinco de Mayo celebration. The only compalint I have is the salsa. The hot is too hot; the mild is too mild. We usually end up mixing them together. The guacomole is great, too. I could really just order from the appetizer menu everyday. Thanks to a wide selection of lunch specials, you can eat lunch for less than $6. Supper isn't much more. The food has an authentic taste, but you can get the extras (like sour cream) that many Americans enjoy. The service is pretty good and you won't have to wait long at lunch. It's in the Ingles shopping center, so parking is never a problem. I don't think they accept checks, but they do take credit cards.
