When she moved here from TX, my old boss lamented for months on end about how she missed her Krispy Kremes. So when ours opened up, I thought I'd see what the fuss was all about.
I think the donuts are OK, especially when they are very hot. Their donuts do taste much better than Dunkin' Donuts after a day of sitting in the box. Price wise and for choice of varieties, I prefer DD. When I buy donuts they never make it to day-old, anyway.
The store is definitely well-lit, although kind of too bright for a donut shop, if you ask me. The employees were friendly and the store was squeaky clean.
It was interesting to watch the donut making machine, and I like the fact that it does have a drive-thru. And who didn't like the fact that you got a free donut when the HOT sign was lit?
