The owners of this cafe on the outskirts of Arcata, have created a dining experience from their Jalisco and Guanajuato, Mexico roots. I had the pleasure of living right next door to this place, and I can't tell you how many times the smell alone made me drool! You can choose to eat your meal indoors or outdoors. Catering and take out are available, as well. The chips that come with your meal, as well as the salsas, are some of the best I've had at a Mexican restaurant. I would say one of my favorite dishes is the Chicken Mole, which includes rice, beans, and homemade tortillas. (I like to wrap all the ingredients together and make myself a burrito or enchilada out of it). The prices here are very reasonable, and the food is delicious!
