My car was involved in a hit and run accident the other day in a parking lot. Now, when we signed up for the insurance plan we had, we made sure everything was above the reccomended minimum. We raised our liabilty in accidents, and opted for the best of the options for the insurance we were getting. When my car was hit, my fiance called the company and they told him he had opted for standard collision instead of paying the extra few dollars for comprehensive, so he still had to pay a $500 deductible, even though he had nothing to do with this accident. I didn't think this was a good way to treat your customers, so watch out!
