I have been to The Daily Grind locations in both Staunton and Waynesboro and have not been overly impressed with either location. The coffee is fine, but I don't love the ambiance. Neither really have that unique, cozy, coffeehouse sort of feel. It's almost as if they are trying to be a Starbucks replica, but not quite getting it. I have found the staff members to be more interested in socializing with one another than to help customers. This can be frustrating when you are in a hurry. If you just need to pick up a cup of coffee, Daily Grind is fine...but if you're looking for cozier feel, with a stronger sense of community, go to Coffee on the Corner or Cranberry's first!
