If you are sick of For Eyes' stock and can't stand Lenscrafters anymore, give Eye Q a try. They don't take insurance, but keep an eye out for special deals that include, for instance, a free pair of sunglasses with your regular glasses. The staff has a good handle on their stock, since almost all of it is made specially for them. They are good at knowing what really looks good on different faces. Try on frames and they'll take a teeny instand pic of you wearing them, to take home and consider. I like this low-pressure approach, plus it's great for those of us too blind to see ourselves in the mirror. They also do regular eye exams.
