Taco bell here on North avenue is nice. My experience is mostly in getting 7 layer burritos and they make them well. They also have a pizza hut attached so I sometimes get an order of breadsticks. Last time I went inside and asked the lady, ‘are the breadsticks fresh’. She answered, ‘yes they are fresh’. I paused, and she offered, ‘do you want to test them’. I said yes. So then she brought me a box and I picked up the box and squinted as I examined the box. I was having some fun. Then she’s like, ‘is that how you test them’ And then I put the box down and squeezed a stick. Yes it was fresh.
Sometimes they have a sticker on the breadstick box that says, use by 10:00 pm with a date. I like this because it lets me know it hasn’t been sitting out. To me the most important thing is the food is prepared fresh with care. This is a good taco bell.
