The Alliance Against Family Violence & Sexual Assault is located downtown. If you are being abused physically OR emotionally, I strongly recommend you go here to talk to someone and to get help. You can get a certain amount of free sessions with a counselor or an unlimited amount of group therapy. There is no shame in talking to someone about stuff that is or has happened to you. The people here are nice and caring. I went to a few group sessions and was always treated kindly.
