I like to treat myself after a loooooong day at work, so I am usually looking for late night places. Dennys is the right place for me. All day breakfast and good selection of comfort food with milkshakes etc to satisfy your need for calories.
It can be crowded during regular meal hours, especially during lunch and on weekends, but late night, you have a choice of tables and it is quiet. So you can relax while eating your food and no one will kick you out, if you do the crossword puzzle at the table (even the NY Times Sunday version).
