I've been going to this place for 15 years now, but I'm not sure how long they've been around. You walk in to a shop which sells wine, has a mini bakery, and sells pre-made dishes from the restaurant. As you continue back, you enter the restaurant area. Typically, you have to get in line as this place is SO popular that there's often a wait on the weekends. Their matzo ball soup is fabulous and their sandwiches are equally wonderful. They have a pickle bar with just about every pickle imaginable that you can help yourself to regardless of what you order. The wait staff is not very personable, but that's part of the place's charm.
