One of the better Chinese buffets in town 3/22/2006

China First offers both a menu and a buffet. I have only eaten off the buffet once, and was not entirely impressed - the food was similar to a take out dive. But the buffet offers much better quality than your average take out restaurant. The food is usually fresh and hot (the exceptions being between lunch and dinner 3-5pm and after 8pm). They have a good variety of vegetarian, chicken, and beef dishes...especially for such a small buffet. On Sundays they add king crab and a few shrimp and fish dishes. They also have three or four sushi rolls to choose from, a small salad bar, and about 10 different desserts to choose from (including soft-serve ice cream. One can partake in the buffet for $6-9, and they always have an ad in the ADMax magazine where you can get a free drink or buy-one-get-one-half-off. I'd recommend this place over many of the larger buffets, what they lack in quantity, the make up for in quality. more
